Migrate the easy way! Do you have a need to migrate a Drupal 7 site to the latest WordPress 3.x version? Migrations can be very time-consuming, stressful and error-prone, so let us do it for you! How much is your time worth? Do you want to spend all week pulling your hair out or do it the easy way? We’ve done the countless hours of hard work. Why not save a bunch of time and get some good points from the boss for finishing early? Did I mention we work cheap? See below for our current pricing.
Drupal 7 user passwords cannot be transferred to WordPress. However, the usernames and most user data can be. An option is that users can be emailed with the new WordPress admin, typically of the form “http://www.yourblogdomain.com/wp-login.php” and instructed to click the “Lost your password?” link. There they see that they can enter their username or email address to receive a link to create a new password by email. We can even send out these new notification emails, at no additional charge! Just check the “send notification of site conversion” checkbox and optionally edit any details in your D2W conversion setup.
Why do a migration from Drupal to WordPress? While both platforms have advantages, many see Drupal as overkill and too complex for their needs. Others may just have a preference for the WordPress feels, approaches and paradigms. Whatever the reason, you could always switch back to Drupal later. Drupal now even has a WordPress importer.
